Rocky Aldrich

Mr. Aldrich has devoted the past 34 years dedicating his efforts and energy to the education of our young people. He offers a variety of experiences ranging from teaching in private and public schools, a one room school and administration in charter and public schools. Certifications include Physical Education, Health, Industrial Education, Driver Education, Masters in Teaching in Elementary Education and an EDS specialist degree in Administration  and Supervision. He also holds Michigan Central Office Certification.

 

It is with great pride that I join in partnership with families and community to foster our mission to enable individuals to develop academic and social skills. It is my desire to promote progress that will unfold a compelling story about excellence as our staff dedicates efforts to insure success with the academic growth of our greatest resource, our students. It is my challenge to insure a safe, nurturing, and intellectually stimulating environment in an ever-changing society. Business Manager
Mr. Steve Noble is the Principal at the Ubly High School. Mr. Noble has spent 12 years in education, 8 of those years in the classroom as a science teacher, baseball and football coach, and the last 4 years in administration at Deckerville Community Schools. Mr. Noble has a BA in education from Cornerstone University and a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from The University of Michigan-Flint. Mr. Noble and his wife Melissa have 2 children, Caleb 9, and Isabella 7. Mr. Joel Brandel is principal at the Ubly Elementary School.  He manages Kindergarten through Sixth Grade students and programs for the school district.  Mr. Brandel received his Bachelors Degree from Saginaw Valley State University in 1992 and his Masters Degree from Central Michigan University in 1997.  Mr. Brandel served as Elementary/Junior High Counselor for 10 years at Ubly Community Schools prior to becoming the Elementary Principal in 2007. The Business Manager is Mrs. Evelyn Smaglinski. Mrs. Smaglinski worked in the Business Office as the Superintendent Secretary and Office Manager for 9 1/2 years. She assumed the Business Manager position January 1, 2003. Mrs. Smaglinski received an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Baker College. She has been a member of the Michigan School Business Officials since 1994 and received her Business Office Manager Certification in June 2000. She began her career in Accounting Management in 1978.
