Ubly Middle School

Fifth and sixth grade students' curriculum emphasizes on Math, English and Language Arts, as well as Science, History and Social studies. The students also participate in modular classes that consist of either physical education, art, music/band or computers. Ubly Middle School utilizes Positive Behavior Support (P.B.S.) to aid in student conduct and performance.

Bearcat Tickets reinforce
positive behaviors & reward "being responsible", "being respectful", & "being ready". Monthly PBS assemblies provide a fun opportunity to reward students for exhibiting positive behaviors.

Ubly Community Schools has become a Great Expectations School. Great Expectations! (GE) creates harmony and excitement within the school atmosphere, elements that are basic for inspiring students to pursue academic excellence. GE creats an infrastructure that promotes improved student self-esteem, attendance, discipline,and parent participation - all of which result in improved academic achievement. Drawing from many learning theories, professional development is grounded in the belief that all students can learn, no matter what labels have been placed on them.
